There is a new play-off system in Kentucky for Middle Schools. It was started this year and will take the top school out of each Middle Schhol district I think there are 16 districts in the state. The top team from each district will play the district next to them and so on. The championship game will be played at LCHS in Lexington.
Anyway I knwo that this exists and it only costs 45 dollars to join this new league. The money from each team is used to secure neuatral playing sites in the playoffs and the championship game.
I know that this exist becasue I belong to this group that helped start the league.

The newly formed Kentucky Middle School Football Association, in collaboration with the Lexington Catholic Middle School Football Program, would like to extend an invitation to other middle school football conferences to participate in a regional conference on conference championship for 7th and 8th grade conference championship teams. Semi-final games would be held at fields to be selected during the week of October 20th with final games to be held in Lexington at LCHS on Saturday, October 25, 2008.
