According to the Big Sandy News...
The event attracted players from all-across Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, and even Pennsylvania. State powers that were represented at the combine were, Mercer County, Newport Central Catholic, Scott County, Johnson Central, Sheldon Clark, Prestonsburg, and Hazard.
Award Winners were...
Kristian Skyles of Sheldon Clark was top freshman performer, Channing Smith also of Sheldon Clark got top sophomore performer, Michael Burchett of Prestonsburg was the top junior performer, and Ellis Delahousay of Mercer County was the top senior performer at the Combine.
Prestonsburg's Allen Craynon and Sheldon Clark's Ryan Kelley were the top running backs at the camp and will share the honor.
Ryan Kelley of Sheldon Clark and Korey Jarrell of Betsy Layne each had 25 reps on the 185-pound bench press, which tied for 2nd at the event. Winfield, WV lineman Daniel Thomas had 26 reps and was named the overall winner.
