I guess the Thunder isn't the official name yet. I just read this article from Yahoo that says the six possible nicknames are the Barons, Bison, Energy, Marshalls, Thunder and Wind.

I really hope it isn't the Energy.

I am pretty sure the only half decent name in those six are the Marshalls, which is still terrible. If it is the Tunder and Wind might as well play Gone With THe Wind durint pre-game. The Barons sound like a hockey team, the Bison sound like a YMCA red neck, hoe diggin, snuff chewin, family pick up team, and then you have the beautiful Energy sounds like a street league.

WOOOOOOO NELLY everyone we have a barn burner tonight between the OKIE CITY ENERGY and the North Side Renagades. Idk that just all of a sudden came to mind. Heck our names for fantasy football are better then these.
