This seems to be a very interesting district especially since the addition of Harlan County High. Breathitt County dominated the district last season but since the addition of Harlan County, should the Bobcats be worried? IMO, yes they should. The Black Bears are going to give the Bobcats all they can handle this upcoming season, IMO Breathitt will still win the district but by the time the playoffs roll around and the Bears have a full season under there belt it could get quite interesting. And I wouldn't sleep on Estill County either, from my understanding they return their entire backfield from last season.

The Bobcats know that they can not take anyone for granted and they usually dismantle the opponents in workman-like fashion, especially in district play. I am sure Breathitt will take Harlan seriously, but Harlan better take Breathitt seriously because Breathitt is capable of putting a game away quickly. As far as Estill and the other teams, they will be good practices for the Bobcats. The subs should get in the games by the 3rd quarter as in last years games. Breathitt will run through the district if they do not get overly cocky and take care of business 1 game at a time. Breathitt returns several players off of last years team and there will be very little if any fall off as far as talent and explosiveness. If they can not get the holes in the defense (corners) fixed, there will be a lot of yards to be had through the air against Breathitt. I just do not think that anyone on their schedule can throw the ball well enough to keep the Bobcat defense off balance.
