The Optimists in Boyd County have three tourneys scheduled so far and one is an NSA showcase. There are several tournaments in Milton, Barboursville and Buffalo/Putnam. Most of these are in the 350.00 range and require being sanctioned with ASA or NSA. Of course Cinn., Columbus, and Lexington all have numerous tournaments all summer. And groups such as Perfect Game Softball and the National Association of Fastpitch Coaches hold college exposure tournaments all over the U.S. with the Colorado tourney in July and the Ringers tournament in Jan. being two of the largest gathering of college coaches in the nation.
