H) Complete Game
In regular season, and postseason, a complete game of 6 1/2 or
7 innings must be played unless other National Federation rules
apply to the situation. All games in a seeded district must be
played to completion.
The only time 5 innings must be played is in a 10 run mercy rule situation.
That is not true. You have to take the same considerations that they do in college. In college if you just play one game, you play 9 innings. If it is a double header then you play two 7 inning games. In high school you can set it up the same way. If you play one game it is a 7 inning game and if you play a double header you have the choice to make it two 5 inning games. Games can be counted after 5 innings have been completed. It happens all the time.
