The problem with your argument here, as I see it, is that it dances around the real issue. I have yet to see 20,000 people show up at an academic match, though a few movies about spelling bee's exist, and TV coverage. I don't think Al Holland says, "Hey, that Johnson kid can really spell and do science. Geez, he can't even dribble...but we really need him at Hazard." Some parents shop for exposure, for the trip to Rupp, viewing rules or competitive fairness as minor obstacles to be overcome at all costs.

Well said cavemaster. There are players on the Hazard team that have been their from the start. Their the ones that this effects the most because they lose their playing time to guys that are brought in by Coach Hollan so he can try to stay on top. Like you said at all cost. Little selfish to me. Can't he win with what he's got there. Evidently not. Transfering is'nt that common specially at the same school two years straight. Unless your their for SPELLING or SCIENCE right. HA HA HA...
