No school in most of the state can even understand..because if they have a coach that is worth keeping like Bill Mike ..than as soon as the they bring the money they leave it all behind to better their own careers...Bill Mike stayed because he loved it..because he has been offered several Tickets out of Paintsville..... But he chose us at Paintsville!!!
and in case you didn't know...BMR had a tatoo done for his 96 team ....now what HS coach do you know that has done that ??? Not many I'm guessing!!

Gez Secret Agent, did you ever possibly think that he stuck around PHS because he got a pay check for it? If he was as dedicated as you may think, why is he jumping ship at the first possible change of jumping! (Just reaching his retirement date). Now, true dedication is when you see a teacher still teaching after about 40 years. I know coaches at PHS that have coached out in the weather for longer than he did in a gym. Something else, YES he has helped alot of kids in alot of ways but guess what, dont ask me to start naming names and situations where some kids, well to put nicely, fell or got pushed thru some cracks.
He is a good guy, no one is taking that from him to get on here and go on and on and on and on and on and basically compare him to Christ is going a little too far. About the tattoo, we all have saw it several times in the last 10 years, he made sure of thatBig Grin
I wish him and his family the best, they will do fine, that is just what kind of people they are.
