This is the very reason there is a bill before the legislature to abolish the KHSAA and place the authority over athletics within the Department of Education. I'm not sure if that is the answer but there definitely needs to be a house cleaning in Lexington and it should start at the top. This organization exists out of a need created by the schools and their students not the other way around.

I've heard of that bill and I'm for the extermination of the KHSAA, but the only thing I don't really understand is, if the KHSAA does go down, there's all these referees out of a job so do they get job with the board of education? If it was a county board of education wouldn't you think we'd have the same problems? Is there a link to look at this at?
