The rule is that you can get a shot off with .3 left on the clock anything else must be a tip-in. But I have no clue as to whether or not he actually got it off in time. But still great shot.

That is a college and pro rule. Not in high school. At the college and pro level, the put that in to take the human factor out of it. At the high school level, it is still when the horn sounds.
