This has been brought up recently (not sure if it was in US Congress or in a State). The main point that I read against it was that Welfare is supposed to be to help the children, and it isn't their fault that their parents are out doing drugs.

But I am all for it.

The bad part about this is, the kids don't benefit from it anyway. The parents keep having kids to get more money so they can buy more drugs, 4 wheelers, boats and whatever else while the rest of us work. Most of them on the draw are in better shape than most of us working.
