for me it would be bleeding to death, being burned alive, being disembowled, dying in a confined space, like in a building collapse, drowning, suffocation, or "Sujin Death". that is where they would take you and cut an artery and let you bleed out into a giant kettle JUST ENOUGH to fill it up, but just enough where you would stay alive, but barely. then they would bring the blood up to a boil and then toss you into the boiling blood, so that you would either be scalded alive, or drown in your own blood. or there was the rare occasion that you DID live, then they would just throw you into a river to let you drown.

There was a way of execution during the Renaissance where they would take 4 ropes and tie them to your arms and legs, and have horses pull you apart by "Quartering" you alive.

Chinese men in the 15th century though it was an Honorable way to die by disembowling yourself. they would take a knife, run it under their stomach from left to right, and eviscerate theirself. Crazy Stuff.

anything else anybody wants to add? ive still got quite a few of mine that i would be really happy to share. Jaoanese soldiers during WW2 would inject iodine into the veins of POW's and watch them writhe in pain before the iodine hit their heart and it exploded inside their chest. That was really bad....

Brutus's wife Portia, in "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar" commited suicide by swallowing hot coals. Ouch.

There was a queen in the 12th century who would douse people in ice cold water and throw them outside in the snow to let them freeze to death, or smear them in honey and put them at the top of an anthill. that wasnt deadly, but was extremely painful.

but probably the worst way i can imagine dying is dying alone. with noone around you to tell that you love them. THAT is really scary.
