Amber Alert Issued for Missing Kentucky Teen
#1
An amber alert is out for a missing Kentucky teenager. Police say a group of men took Janet Batanzos Quijano while she was waiting for the school bus.

This amber alert comes out of Monroe County. The 16-year-old girl was last seen around eight wednesday morning in Tompkinsville. Police say a group of men picked the girl up from her house, where she was waiting for the morning school bus.

Investigators believe the teenager may be in a red minivan with five hispanic men.

Police have searched all day for the teen and the red van. There's no word yet whether the teenager knew the men, but state police issued the amber alert because the girl may have been abducted and could be in danger.

Janet Quijano is a hispanic. She's 4'11" weighs about 85 pounds with black hair and dark eyes. She also has a scare on her right cheek. She left the house wearing blue jeans and a red sweater with green squares.

There have been no signs of the teen or the car, we're told investigators ran into a road block because the girl's parents do not speak english.

If you have information about Quijano's disappearance or if you see this girl call 9-1-1 or 1-877-AMBER-17.
