[Crossbones]

What interests me is how bent out of shape some "hellfire and brimstone" nuts got when the book and the movie were big in the cinemas and bookstores. My GOD people... it's a fictional work, a story. It's like such classics as "Alice in Wonderland", " Tom Sawyer/ Huck Finn". Brown just took something that had drwan attention and went from there with a vey good FICTIONAL work.

I'm far from being a "hellfire and brimstone nut", and I have watched the movie. I thought it was a very interesting movie and actually enjoyed it. But, movies like this is a tool of satan, that he will use to put little doubts into peoples minds. For example: Bluegrassbala stated "it kinda gets you wondering and thinking beyond though". That is what satan's intent was, to get you thinking something other than the Word of God (bible). The Bible states that satan is a worthy advisary and is as a roaring lion, going about seeking whom he may devour. I believe that a person has to be prepared for war. Our preparation consist of studing God's word and knowing it, because it is our sword in the battle against satan.
