It's Kirk, man. If you're going to use someone as well known as Kirk Gibson in an argument, at least spell his name right (or spell the right name).

If Kirk had been smart he'd stuck with football. He was an All-American WR at Michigan State and only played one year of college baseball. He was good enough though to get drafted in both sports, but he chose baseball as I'm sure everyone knows. The only thing he's known for is the World Series HR off Dennis Eckersley. I guess I would rather be known for that instead of having the term "pulling a Buckner" after me.
