I'd like to get everyones opinion on high school coaches that contact kids from other schools and try to persuade them to come to their school. Is this the right thing to do? Should a coach build his program with the (local) kids already in his feeder system? Or would you encourage him to do whatever it takes to stay competitive, even if it means going to other schools to get players? I'd like to hear everyones opinion on this.
