Exactly, the Bengals D was horrible last year at getting off the field on third down! It seemed like the run defense was what got all the bad press, but it was the pass defense that really let the team down by allowing the other team to keep moving the chains. Just too many 10-12 yard receptions on 3rd-and-9 last year. I'm not sure what the pass defense was ranked, but I know it was lower then the run D. Hopefully, a healthy Joseph, a rejuvenated O'Neal, and the energy provided by the rookie safeties will change things.

Our secondary could end up being solid, but any QB can pick apart a D if he has all day to throw.
