Paintsville should have been the best team in this region for the last three years. What have they done? First round exits in the regions. They have the same team this coming year that they have had the last three years. Paintsville also forfeited a game this summer to Pikeville so they wouldnt have to play them. Go ahead and say summer ball doesnt mean anything. But if it really doesnt, why didnt they play?

But a better question would be, what does Paintsville have to do with this thread?

I would have to disagree with that statement, I doubt Paintsville forfeited a game because they didn't want to play Pikeville. Again, it's summer ball, in a few months nobody will even remember who won what over the summer.

That said, I do agree with you that Pikeville should be the better team this year. They have one of the best coaches around, and are a talented group that really seemed to put it all together by the end of the year last season. I think preseason rankings in the region should be Paintsville at #3 and Pikeville at #2 (would put them at #1 if they get the new guy).
