Gary Majewski's working on a 8 1/3 inning scoreless streak for the Bats. He's given up two hits, two walks and struck out 13 in that span per John Fay of the Enquirer...Also, David Weathers has been fine closing games - converting nine of 10 save chances with a 2.08 ERA. The 8th inning is the problem and finding a solid setup guy.
The Reds have allowed 41 runs in the eighth inning through Wednesday's loss. By comparison, they have allowed 21 in the sixth and 25 in the seventh.

Great to hear about Majewski. Maybe by the time next year rolls around he can actually be the guy to go to in the pen. Right now I think the guy that Narron should be going with is Stanton or Sarloos ( Sorry can't remember how he spells it), instead of freakin' Coffey and Whethers.
In regard to your latest post, I take that as good news about Bray seeing that the last time I heard anything about his status he was still rehabing. It is good to see him starting his assignment and that the tightness in his should is not a major set back.
