Paying admission for Grand March is absolutely the craziest thing I have ever heard of. I have never heard of a school charging for that before. When I was in high school our grand march stage was set up outside and you walked across before going in the door to prom and everyone could see you and for free. Granted I never walked at grand march, I always perfectly manged to arrive just as it was over. Serouisally, a school needs to think of better ways to raise money, when I was a junior we had to sell suckers and everyone had a certain number they had to sell and if you didn't sell then you didnt get to go to prom that year as a junior since that meant less money to decorate.
