Just a typical SV vs. PHS softball game. SV never got their bats going, but they played some great defense and got a tremendous effort from Ashleigh Stanley on the mound to move to 2-0 in the 59th District. Defensively, they turned 3 double plays on the night and used some aggressive base running and well executed bunts to push 3 runs across the plate. SV travels to Paintsville on Thursday to take on All-A champion Paintsville. Good job Lady BatKats!:thumpsup:
