It is not about hating OTS. However, his first
move at Minnesota was to hire the Oklahoma State
assistant coach, who is known to be a GREAT
recruiter. He did not bring his staff at
Kentucky with him. Why did OTS not do this
at UK? If he had brought in a good recruiter,
we would not be having this disucssion.
Apparently, OTS was too stubborn to let himself
think that anybody at UK could tell him what
to do. Once at Minnesota, he's finding
new coaches left and right.

Not too stubborn, too good a person. He wasn't going to leave Hobbs and the rest out to dry. I have to admit, his assistants weren't worth a (you know what) but he wasn't just going to let them go because he'd been down a few years.

To stay on track, I am a STAUNCH OTS fan, but the move was probably better for everyone. I'll follow Minnesota and Kentucky now.
And as for Billy G..
I've always loved his coaching style. He's young, can recruit, and looks really promising for the UK program.
