I have every reason to believe that Donnie Jones will be the new head coach of Marshall men's basketball. At a dinner for Marshall's Big Green Scholarship Club on Wednesday night, Billy Donovan was accompanied by Jones, and was meeting and greeting with all Marshall supporters in attendance. Donovan also really pushed for Jones to possibly be Marshall's next coach in both his press conference and his speech. Jones has been Donovan's assistant for 13 years, two of those years at Marshall. He is also a native of West Virginia. It is rumored that Marshall had a lengthy interview with Jones yesterday and it went very well. I think he would be a great addition to the school that is *second* in my heart (of course UK is first).
