JBS article: "'Hoosiers' lives in Pippa Passes" from the Lexington HL.

Mr. Baseball Wrote:When did we stop rooting for the mountain teams? I realize we all may not agree with the way some things are done or disagree with a coach or school. But, heck let's get behind whoever we send to Lexington, Bowling Green or Richmond and start cheering these kids on because if we start a habit of that hopefully it will be returned in the future. Some people are really missing the point when it comes to publicity. We need all the good words we can get around here and instead many people on this board and in other places are dissecting every word and knocking down the positive. Sorry for the ramble.

Good to see a positive ramble for once about JBS.

That's why I find it interesting how the Lexington media is treating this story and how some fans here in the mountains perceive this team and school. JBS was never a threat to folks here in the hills as long as they were your homecoming game. Now they have started winning and defeating traditional powers and lets face it, that's the problem for most people on this board that don't like JBS. It's pitiful.

I'd hate for the outside media to do a story on how some select mountain basketball fans feel about JBS and their success because it would set us back 15 years. JMO.
