Well the track is shorter and that means you have to run more laps to equal the same distance. At Mason Co. the Long jump pit was built up from the floor out of wood and there wasn't enough runway for most people to get their triple jump steps in on and the floor was extremely slick for the runners to run on. These were the differences I noticed at Mason co's meet, but I have not been to any other indoor meets or facilities.
