Other schools do this.... there is one 7th grader and several 8th graders on another local varsity squad! Pikeville cheers their junior high squad during varsity games because they are good enough to be competitive with high school squads. Why does anyone have a problem with this? As far as I know, at Pikeville, if you have the talent to run with the big dogs, they let you.... no matter what age you are!
