[BMS Football Mom#36]

I agree with the Little League program being in bad shape. I know in the past there was talk about drafting players. Certain schools wanted only to draft the students at one school instead of the whole league and it didn't pass. I also don't think that it would be a bad idea to drop the 6th grade back into midget league. There should be enough 6th graders wanting to play to actually field more than one team . If a 6th grader is good enough to move up and play 7th then let him.

Where would the 7th graders have been this year without the 6th graders they wouldn't have had enough players to play a game! 6th graders are part of BMS and as such should play for BMS! If the same kids come out for basketball next year, who's going to play 8th grade? I'm proud of our 6th graders as well as our 7th & 8th. It doesn't matter who thinks who is a better coach, some kids play because they love the game. They will stay and play for whoever is coach. The 6th grade had several coaches this year and the ones who played for the 7th had a couple more. I'll be there cheering for BMS and my son whoever the is coach is!
