I still think that it takes the fun out of highschool cheerleading and basketball games, if you're not in high school. It also creates a disadvantage for girls who don't compete until they reach the high school level. Pikeville has cheerleaders who are 12 and 13 years old, so by the time they're seniors they have competed in KAPOS 6 times. I know that no one will ever say anything to KAPOS about Pikeville Junior High because of their connections with KAPOS. Those fimiliar with KAPOS know that staying on everyones good side is always best.
