As far as the above boldened statement is concerned, I also understand, but feel like you may be blaming this on Landon or the gameplan in general. The fact is at Paintsville, every player has an equally essential role in the offense -- from the time I used to watch PHS practice as a little boy, till when I played for them, till now, I have never seen an offense set up just for one player.

This type of offense allows players to play basketball, rather than have to rely on "point A, point B" schematics -- often times, the best players tend to be the ones who score. This is similar to Bobby Knight basketball, where he runs a motion offense not designed for on particular person.

Although not a die hard tiger fan I have watched them for years here and there dating back to John Pelphery. I would completely agree with Gov that PHS runs an offense where everyone has the chance to score and the best players and scores find a way to get baskets. I watched a game against I think Brewbaker, Ala. and in the first half Slone picked up 3 fouls and the Tigers where in a very close game and I though the Ala team would pull away with Slone out of the game but the other Tigers picked it up and Meade played great off the bench and the Tigers won a blow out game. I would also say that Landon Slone is the best at getting to the free throw line, he knows how to get to the basket and either score or get fouled.
