Look, first of all I don't consider Bell Co. that great of a team. Second Ballou DC blew P-burg out of the gym in the Tiger Hoops Classic by 60 points and they went 1-2 in the Hoops tourney, didn't even make it to the final four of the tourney, and went 0-2 in the King of the Bluegrass tourney. So that proves nothing. If anything, it just shows you that there are a lot of teams out there that can match SV's accomplishments but wouldn't be a top 25 team in the state. I'm serious, beating P-burg by 60 is not anything to brag about. And everyone on here acting like Bell Co. is #1 in the state is rediculous. Look at their schedule and scores on the KHSAA website. They have played a weak schedule and done very little to brag about.

Again, I am not saying that SV is not good, or that Paintsville would blow them out or anything like that. I am just making the case that they haven't proven themselves this season so far, at least to justify the hype being piled on these threads by the SV faithful. Lets just let them play and see where they end up. That way no one has to come back on here and say "told you so" later on.

All I can tell you is to watch them play. I wasn't a believer either until I went and watched them in Corbin. That team plays harder than any team I have ever watched. They may or may not win the WYMT tournament this year but I would be very suprised if they are beaten in the regional tournament. I think anybody that has watched them would say that this is a fair statement even if you are not from Shelby Valley like me.
