I think sometimes people forget that these players are still KIDS. And while they gain a lot being part of a team they also have to give up a lot too, especially if you play more than one school sport it does take up the majority of your time. (Remember it's called a game because it's suppose to be fun) We don't always know reasons for why certain things are done and most likely it's not really anyone's business why she isn't playing except her and her family's.
