But I believe that LL gets the edge here. LL is where the groundwork is laid. The fundamentles of the game , fielding, hitting running bases and etc.
TT, only use kids that already possess these atributes. If not for leagues like LL, The TTs would not be very good, IMO.

Nice post Guru. Do you think that top players are sometimes over looked for the TT because of financial situations? Being a member of a TT isn't cheap.
