In the "Newsexpress" a few weeks ago, they had a article about how schools were going to teach classes to try to get the accents out of the kids. I dont think I would let my son go to it, or if he had to, tell him to exagerate the accent part more than normal while in that class.

That's insane...people are treated like they are not as smart because of their Eastern Kentucky accent. The administrators or whoever of these schools must feel inferior to the rest of the state so they feel like they have to start teaching these types of classes. I think we should all be who we are...
