If you live in one district and choose to go to school in another, then you have made your choice. If you later decide to attend the school in your district, even if you move closer to it, by rule, you have to sit a year.

It may seem unfair in this one case, and a court challenge may allow him to play, but for the greater good, the rule should stand. It eliminates a lot of confusion in other cases and closes what could be a recruiting loophole for others.


I feel sorry for the kid because he can't play...but I agree. Rules are rules.
