it is easy to be 23-6 when u play riverside twice the david school twice piarist twice. not to mention that jbs is in the easiest district. who couldn't beat jenkins, kcc, and lcc. well maybe the district of wolfe,riverside,jackson city, and breathitt is but still powell had a way rougher schedule last year. it doesnt matter what happened last year this is a new year and i see powell and jbs in the regional final. but powelll will be the victor due to ball hogs on jbs.

JBS also beat Estill, a team Powell couldn't come within 22 points of when it really counted. They also beat Montgomery County (a school with a 4-A enrollment), Fleming County, Berea (in Berea's own tournament), and Perry Central.
I will agree with you, though, that June Buchanan should definitely upgrade their schedule. Maybe they have done that this year, I haven't seen their schedule. I would tell Piarist and Riverside that I would pick them back up in the future, but as for right now it wouldn't be benifitual whatsoever to either's programs for them to play in the next few years. Why play a game with an 80 point victory??? One team is demoralized and the other feels guilty.
Plus, how can you prepare for the traditional powers in the area by playing Piarist and Riverside.
If JBS wants to walk with the 'Big Dogs', then they're going to have to upgrade from a Poodle schedule to one that attracts the Pit Bulls of the state, or at least the mountain area.
