im a tomcat fan and ive seen bad calls in football games, im not going to go back and forth about all the calls. In the belfry game if not for two bone-head block in the back penalties that had nothing to do with the outcome of the play thay would have beaten ashland, but those are the rules of the game, I saw no fault in the russell game either ashland lost 5 turnovers and still won. ive seen bad teams win when thay get five turnovers but ive never seen a good team lose after getting 5 turnovers.

on a more important note i love football but if my church ever starts preaching football instead of the blood of christ ill find another church . not a cut at a fellow christian just a word of advice.

Ok before this gets out of context, I don't believe anyone said that they were "preaching" football, I was actually in the service that Devilologist was speaking of (it was my church and my son's baptism service) and he was using football coaching as an analogy. My son and several other children and adults commented after the service about what a great analogy it was and my 10 year old commented that it was a great message. Also if we are getting into this conversation I would be hesitant to make the remarks like the ones above in fear that someone got a blessing out of that sermon which God intended for it to be and you may have just crushed their blessing. We should pray about things before we type. No offense intended.
