Dustin's break to the outside was a fair call, but the false start on Ryan's run (wasn't called on the field as illegal procedure) should have been blown dead at the start of the play, and wasn't. I didn't see the flag EVER on that play, nor did ANY Belfry fan see a false start, not even on the vid. Dustin's punt return was complete BS though. He was in the endzone so fast that we didn't have time to block anyone in the back.

They called some other interesting penalties on Ashland too, and missed a lineman downfield on one of Ashland's TD passes and a facemask which would have given us first down at the end of a 3rd and long.

Officiating aside, it was still a great game, and come December I think we'll have been fortunate to have lost it, as it'll always stick in our boys' minds that they can lose that easily. It's been inspirational to them to come out hard from the first snap since then, so I hope it keeps being an inspiration to them. We've had trouble the last couple years of starting off flat (last year vs Russell of note).
