I'm always happy to hear about a review. It means the KHSAA is actually taking some action against some questionable officiating.

From my own eyes though, 2 of the 3 big plays called back against Belfry were legimate. The TD run by May down the home sideline was called back because there was a clear block in the back about 5 yards behind May right as he hit the sideline. Also, the QB keeper for a big gain down the visitor sideline, that flag was thrown as soon as the ball was snapped for illegal procedure so the outcome of the play had no bearing on the call. I would assume it was due to an illegal formation or not enough men on the line of scrimmage. I didn't see a penalty on the punt return by May for the TD though.

As for the Russell game, the TD run by Clark was called back legimately as well. Drew McDavid had outside contain on the play and was absolutely crushed in the back about 7-8 yards upfield from the line of scrimmage. I will agree that the flag came out late, but he was staring at McDavid for a full couple seconds before he threw the flag.
