I wanted to make some comments about the referees after the Belfry\Ashland game, but I didn't want to stir up a mess..so I kept quiet. But, now that this has come to light I'm not going to be so quiet.

I thought it was awfully fishy that two teams that has won the last three consecutive Class AA State Titles lost in back to back weeks to Ashland in overtime at Ashland.

Sounds like some good old fashioned home cooking to me....hh:

If I were in a position of authority at either Belfry or Russell, I'd be insisting that the KHSAA fully review BOTH games.

How many did Belfry have called back, I know we had 1 called back for something that was 40 yards back away from the play. Clark was already gone....... to the EZ...
I watched BEACH from Raceland get absolutely hammered in the game, punched and ran out of bounds past the Raceland coaches and eneded up at the bench, no flag on that one either, Beach gets kicked out for retaliation after getting beat up on the bottom of the pile. YEA FISHY...........
Russell and Belfry come in to the PS and play, Granted Russell stunk up the place but was winning on the scoreboard,,,,,,, yea fishy still.............
If we would have scored. it would have been no OT and Russell would have cam out with the win...... Did Belfry have 2or 3 called back?????

Even fishier still.........
