A win is a win. I think a loss here would have really let the air out of the balloon for even the most optimistic UK fans.

This one down, and we should take care of two more in Eastern Michigan and Tennessee Tech. Will be disappointed if we don't beat Vanderbilt.

Past those four, really hoping for two more wins and bowl eligibility, no matter how hard those will be to come by.

Not going into the Ole Miss game with the highest expectations given last season's upset. Playing close and showing progress would be a win in and of itself to me, especially if the offense shows signs of life.

Don't think South Carolina is terrible, but also don't think they're the 10th best team in the country. If we're able to break the streak against them, we have more to play for in every game in the meat of our schedule (at Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, at Auburn, Florida) and some momentum to weather the three game stretch that begins with Georgia. Could see things getting really ugly if we're going into our last six games with two wins.

At the moment, thinking that remaining games from most to least winnable would go: at Louisville, Florida, at Auburn, at South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, at Georgia.

Just a tough schedule getting two top 5 teams in games that don't seem winnable and not having a Mississippi State, Missouri, or Arkansas to pair with Vanderbilt on the back end.


If I had to pick, don't know if I'd rather see a 5 win season with only a couple of bad losses, one big upset, and another close game against a really good team (showing we're making slow but steady progress back from last season) or a 6 win season against the worst teams (ex. Vanderbilt, a banged up Florida or Auburn and a mild upset over Louisville), three bad losses, not playing close to any of the good teams, and a loss against a smaller conference school in a low-tier bowl game.
