Male NFL cheerleaders exist for the same reason that the WNBA exists. Political correctness. I am sure that there is a tiny proportion of fans who prefer watching male cheerleaders, but a well managed business does not base its decisions on the wishes of a miniscule share of paying fans. I wonder if Tim Walz was involved in the decision?
