I would agree if most of these so called scrimmages weren't just Joint practices in super controlled specific setting. I mean it's not like the old days where teams actually do a Full Scrimmage up and down the field with a running Clock. They take the ball from a certain yard marker and get like 10 plays each on Offense and Defense and then switch out. Don't get me wrong it helps tremendously in that format and also limits injuries and the risk of injuries while still giving the teams a chance to work on multiple situational scenarios.
