2. Pikeville opens at CAL, Cabell Midland, Raceland, at Johnson Central, at Belfry. Wouldn't be smart to line up against Trinity and St. X heading into that.

3. What Belichick said.

Cal scrimmaging Franklin Co this week.

So?

The point is that Iron sharpens Iron and you can't shy away from good competition in the Pre Season and then expect to be ready for one of the Hardest Schedules in the State. It will lead to injuries and in the end the Coach is suppose to have them prepared for the Schedule that he put together. Betsy Layne, Martin Co, LCC and East Ridge won't even prepare you for Belfry moreless CAL and the rest of the Gauntlet.
Preaching iron sharpens iron to Pikeville fans is a freaking hoot. Looking forward to your next lecture...but maybe you should run out and win a bunch of championships first lol

First off I am a Pikeville Fan and Secondly last Season and now this Season may end up being the Two Toughest Schedules in School History. That didn't help come Playoff time when we ran the ball up the middle over and over at Sayre in an embarrassing loss for about 1-2 yards per carry now did it. It also didn't help with the injuries. I Love playing a Super challenging Schedule but it makes no sense to not challenge your team in the Pre Season to prepare them for that level of competition. If you believe thay LCC, East Ridge, Betsy Layne and Martin Co prepared them, then you may want to eat a Snickers or atleast check your Blood Sugar level.
