For those saying if you had been the coach, the twins would have stayed on the field at all times, offense and defense. Maybe in 1975 you could get away with that. Today, you would be told by the players or the players handlers(posse) to go  f*** yourself. I'd say when the twins came here from the great northeast, it was made very clear just how they were to be used. If  that wasn't acceptable, then they would mosey on to the next school.

It's 2025, not 1975, unfortunately. Shitter's full and you are too if you think you are telling a couple of 4-stars and their parents that they are gonna play offense and defense. Everything the twins did upon arriving in Corbin was highly choreographed. If you want 4 or 5 stars in 2025, you cater to their every whim, not the other way around. Sucks but that's the way it is in the transfer portal/NIL/shitter's full era.

I agree. That's why Coach Bull, Coach TDH, Coach Jet or Coach OSH would be saying, "Yes, Mr Smith, whatever you say, sir."

OSH, I was impressed with the twins, I would have told them get ready to go in and score a touchdown and I'll guarantee they would have said ok. Then I would made them block lol.   Its all in presentation. But make no mistake about it. I would have loved to give them the chance. I see all kinds of possibilities with them. Heck, I may have done the Tim Tebow with them, run and stop on a dime and dump pass for a TD. I also see letting one lead block and the other run a sweep. May have missed a real opportunity for a Mr. Football that year at Corbin.

If nothing else I would have had some different formations with them on the offensive side of the ball for late game situations….. Like Old School said maybe the family didn’t want them playing All the time on the offensive side of the ball but if they where unwilling to play a few downs in crucial late game situations to keep the team winning what good are they to have on the team then period?  I don’t buy it myself those guys where competitors they didn’t want to lose and showed real emotion when we did, they’d have absolutely been out there strapped up ready to go but that just my opinion….

What are you thinking, TDH? Do we get through the regular season unscathed, or do you think we lose one?  Also, there were some rumors about a couple of Florida kids who were transferring up but I haven't been able to determine if there is any validity to it. Both of the rumored kids , I think, were defensive guys. Do you know if we've added any to the roster since the dead period? You can PM me if you don't want to post it here.
