I expect that Johnson Central will probably lead all classes in rushing yardage this season and will also be near the top in scoring. Sure, their offensive production will dip as they advance in the playoffs, but that happens to most teams in most seasons, regardless of whether they run a more balanced offense.

I do expect that the Golden Eagles will pass a little more this season, but with Austin Slone and a deep stable of capable running backs returning, they will be a dangerous team even if they don't attempt a pass. 

Covington Catholic will be very, very good this season and I think that the Colonels may be Johnson Central's biggest obstacle to overcome to reach the state finals, assuming that JC can up its game on defense this season.
