I'm most intrigued by Marrow apparently having interest from Belichick and North Carolina first, but apparently turning them and others down and before ending up at Louisville.

I get the move to Louisville on a lot of levels, especially if they were offering him a title that allowed them to sidestep his full buyout with Kentucky. Or maybe the Tar Heels and others weren't offering what the Cards were in terms of money or freedom to coach as he saw fit. I'd just love to know more of the details that we're all probably never going to be privy to.

If Stoops isn't ultimately able to hang onto the job, I'll still be very grateful for what he's done for the program. Short of the state finding a pile of money or our AD catching lightning in a bottle for a year or two (think Orgeron at LSU), I don't know that we're doing anything more than chasing trends with our next few coaching hires.
