New York Knicks Head Coaching Vacancy

In his early days he was an assistant to Popovich in San Antonio. Took LeBron to his first finals in 2007. Took over for Phil Jackson in 2011 (lasted 5 games). Warriors assistant for three championships and played a big part in one of those runs. First head coaching gig back after that and he takes a team that never wins (Sacramento) to their first playoffs in 17 years.

If you look at the talent he's coached-- Curry, LeBron, Kobe, Durant, Duncan, Nash, and Dwight Howard-- there might not be another peer that's had as many MVPs and perennial All-Stars.

Maybe isn't the home-run fans had hoped for, but it could be much worse.
Agreed, he may just have the experience to take them to the next level.
