True on those two being at the top. Knox seems to be a solid third. Maybe Corbin if they add the two in question.
I knew the "North in the middle of the pack" comment last year would not be true, even without their franchise player.
I don't think the sisters have enrolled but all of Corbins players are saying it and they haven't been playing summer ball with WC. Honestly I don't feel Corbin would make the top 5 even with the additions, guard play(or lack of) will be a thorn for them. I'm saying SL, NL, KC, WC(if the other doesn't transfer), and Clay. Huge dropoff after the top 2, I think that this could be the weakest the 13th has been overall in a long time. Hope I'm wrong but time will tell. Enjoy the rest of summer ball!
I heard for sure the Hopkins kid was moving to corbin but it appears she’s staying. I think as it stands now it’ll be north, south, Whitley, and knox in the top, in that order. We’ll see though, there’s still a lot of time for transfers to happen.
Hopkins has worked out with Corbin the past month and was making the move. Have heard 2 things--Heard that it was let be known to mom that if she transfered without moving WC would fight it like they did the young man last and make sit for a year. Also was told that when the sisters transferred it hugely complicated matters because their was already friction between the families while at WC. But otherwise who knows lol. Regardless the Region goes thru London next year and its not close.
If I was Whitley I’d fight that too. Kid is the glue for that team. I watched them some last year and watched a game this summer she impacts every aspect of the game. I don’t see her staying there though. I don’t understand why Whitley can’t figure it out, as big of a school as they are. They should’ve found a guy like south got instead of doing the same old stuff and hiring ppl who can be puppets. I agree south and north are going to be tough. I think south wins in that match up but it’s early. you couldn’t ask for two better coaches.
Agree with everything you said about WC. Siler either needs to become the coach or step aside and let them do their job. After watching a couple of summer games it’s a wide distance between the Laurels and everyone else. But like you said it’s hella early and I’m sure there is a ref with a beef lol.
