Floyd County's sports programs are struggling, and it seems like the school board's priorities are part of the problem. By promoting coaches based on favoritism rather than merit, they're missing out on opportunities to bring in fresh perspectives and experienced leaders who could make a real difference. It's time for a change that puts students and athletes first.
