I don't like your thread.  I wouldn't have even read it if I wasn't obligated to review all new posts.
I don't like when people are body shamed, whether it be from a liberal or conservative.
I used to hang out with four remarkable women; now there are only three of us left.  One is ultra liberal, one is ultra conservative and I consider myself a moderate leaning toward conservative.  We discuss politics sparingly.  We ALL believe that what you see and read isn't necessarily the facts.  As different as our political views are, I couldn't respect these women more than I do now.

I appreciate your thoughts. I can see where some women would be offended. That wasn't my intent. I just saw the silly pic and thought the guys on here go would go along with the gag and just enjoy a laugh , which they did. Maybe those uptight libs are right after all. I was actually fooled by the picture. I thought it was real.  When I first read the quotes of the lady supposedly doubling down in refusal to date gun owners, I thought, "You go girl!" She sounded like a smart,strong woman. Turns out it was just a parody. I've dated big women all my life. Some of the best years of my life have been my time spent with big, beautiful women. It wasn't my intent to offend anyone. I guess I should apologize to those woke, butt hurt libs, too. Jet's right, liberals need to loosen up and laugh more(like Old School).

You all have read me for five years now. You know that I have an appreciation for irreverent humor. Many of the great comedians made their living with irreveent humor---Carlin, Pryor, Dice Clay. Murphy, Dangerfield. Can you imagine the number of times in his career Dangerfield joked about a fat or ugly girl?  Archie Bunker was pretty politically incorrect back in the days. Are we overly sensitive in the 2020's. I know when I read a lot of the comments on You Tube videos of old shows like All in the Family or The Jeffersons, the comment section is filled with people saying those were the days when you could make politically incorrect jokes without people getting their feelings hurt. I wonder how much of the melting down that we see nowadays is more fake outrage than anything. Is playing the victim a winning strategy in politics, and in life??? It certainly isn't working for Democrats.

Jet, should I apologize to those butt hurt progressives for my failed attempt at humor? I think they are ready to excommunicate my ass from the liberal brotherhood. lol
